De eerste fokkerijresultaten van het springkanon Zirocco Blue VDL zijn opvallend. Zelf springt de hengst op 1.40m-niveau en hij lijkt alles in huis te hebben voor het hoogste werk. Moeder Vordulan stamt af van de topvererver Lasino, die Grand Prix-springpaarden als Lord Luis, Kaskaya, Larentino, Le Beau en Leconte leverde. Grootmoeder Hordulan leverde het 1.40m-springpaard Con Chevesa (v.Contender) en uit haar halfzus komt de internationaal springende hengst Crusador/Cervantes (v.Carano) en het 1.40m-springpaard Carano-T (v.Carano). Deze directe lijn leverde ook de Holsteiner Grand Prix-hengst Coquin Chandial (v.Concerto II) van Peer Zielke. |
