She received the ster predicate with a score of 80 for conformation and 85 for free jumping and went to the national mare show. Granddam Wicalien is a half sister of the international 1.40m showjumpers Carpe Diem IV (s.Douglas) of Hugo Breul and Elwica DN (s.Cardento) of Gabriela Bado. This damline has produced several (inter)national jumpers, such as the 1.40m showjumper Disckoboy DN (s.Douglas), and leads back to Rosie van de Hermitage (s.Voltaire). This mare was competing in the international sport with Michel Robert. Sire Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest has developed into a Grand Prix winner under the saddle of Jur Vrieling and is also known as a very promising progenitor of showjumpers. |
