This interesting filly is bred out of dam Finook M, an half sister to the international 1.45m-jumper Zaretino (s.Cassini I) ridden by Jan Wagner. Granddam Minook is a full sister of the well-known German stallion Cheenook and she is also the granddam of the 1.40m-jumping Bacardi UK (s.Numero Uno). The line goes back to the mare Trika (s. Romantiker), she is also the granddam of Mclain Ward?s Grand Prix jumper Cannavaro (s.Caplan) and Cocu (s.Cassini I) competed by Mario Deslauriers. Diamant de Semilly himself performed at the highest level and is at the highest level represented by striking descendants as Quickly de Kreisker, Emerald van ?t Ruytershof and Utamaro d'Ecaussine. The Olympic champion stallion Baloubet du Rouet is found as the sire on mothers side. |
